Depending on your needs, the KPP™ suite of dedicated modules will further increase your Return On Investment. As optional add-ons they will: compute Swept Volumes for preserving a free corridor from any intrusive design and simulate operations with a virtual mannequin or a manufacturing robot.
For having a global view on the various modules, download KPPTM Modules at a Glance brochure.

Addressing advanced disassembly uses, KPP-Advanced™ features 3 new tools:
|
|
Magnet PathTM, narrow passage booster
- Automatically magnetizes the search along
a draft path set by the user
- Constraints the path inside a tunnel
|
|
|
Soft BodiesTM to take into account components
made of soft material
- Simulates slightly deformable objects such as flexibles, cushions, headliners, etc
- Allows user defined penetrations
- Computes a collision free path with minimum play

While studying the accessibility of a component of an assembly, once a collision-free path has been found, a Kineo Path PlannerTM user may need to get the equivalent collision-free swept volume as a result of his study to preserve a corridor of mounting or dismounting from any intrusive design.
And sometimes for confidentiality issues or for simplification purposes, Designer may wish to replace the complete 3D assembly of parts by a light sized volume corresponding to its external shape.
