KPPTM modules at a glance

Depending on your needs, the KPP™ suite of dedicated modules will further increase your Return On Investment. As optional add-ons they will: compute Swept Volumes for preserving a free corridor from any intrusive design and simulate operations with a virtual mannequin or a manufacturing robot.

For having a global view on the various modules, download KPPTM Modules at a Glance brochure.

KPP For ProductViewTM

KPP for ProductViewTM efficiently complements ProductViewTM from PTC for mounting/dismounting virtual simulations.

KPP-AdvancedTM

Addressing advanced disassembly uses, KPP-Advanced™ features 3 new tools:

Magnet PathTM, narrow passage booster

  • Automatically magnetizes the search along a draft path set by the user
  • Constraints the path inside a tunnel

Soft BodiesTM to take into account components made of soft material

  • Simulates slightly deformable objects such as flexibles, cushions, headliners, etc
  • Allows user defined penetrations
  • Computes a collision free path with minimum play

Advanced Auto-Extract to solve complex extraction of a component that is tightly interlocked within its mounted environment

KPP-WrappingTM

While studying the accessibility of a component of an assembly, once a collision-free path has been found, a Kineo Path PlannerTM user may need to get the equivalent collision-free swept volume as a result of his study to preserve a corridor of mounting or dismounting from any intrusive design. And sometimes for confidentiality issues or for simplification purposes, Designer may wish to replace the complete 3D assembly of parts by a light sized volume corresponding to its external shape.

KPP-DeviceTM

Whether you want to analyze a kinematics within a very constrained 3D environment or to find collision-free trajectories for an articulated robot, automating your process will save you a huge amount of time.

KPP-HumanTM

Motion planning today is no longer restricted to robots - highly complex human body motion can also be automatically simulated.

KPP-SequenceTM

Sequence Planning consists in generating all possible ordered combinations (sequences) for dismounting a specific component part, or even an entire assembly.
